We specialize in the handling of coal and petroleum coke and we do it well. United's dry-bulk handling facility located at mile 55 on the Mississippi River south of New Orleans in Davant, Louisiana. It is one of the largest dry-bulk terminals in the United States offering blending, storage and transfer services to our customers. The terminal is the hub of our "integrated package" service for petroleum coke and coal export customers. Our terminal services include blending and sampling of product. Export product arrives via inland barge and is either transferred directly to an ocean vessel or put to storage on a soil cement pad. Unlike “midstream” operations, product being direct transferred is sent via the dock system through magnetic separators, and if the customer desires, can be mechanically sampled.

Because our terminal is a part of a larger transportation and material handling company, we can offer our customers an "integrated package" including the movement of dry bulk product between an inland river dock and virtually any port in the world.
